FRONT OFFICE MANAGER

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager and the Hotel Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the supervising and ensuring the smooth operation of the front office personnel in carrying out their duties. The Front Office Manager directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, reservations, bell desk, guest services and telephone areas.    

Applicants should satisfy the following:

  • Must have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Be innovative and creative.
  • Have strong administration and coordination skills.
  • Must have a pleasant and outgoing personality with excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Must have excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Must be able to understand and function within a multi-cultural/diverse environment.
  • Must have strong analytical and resolution skills, always exercising good judgment.
  • Must have functioning knowledge of budget planning/preparation and control.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A First degree in Hotel Management or a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of three years experience in a similar capacity.
  • Computer literate with computer applications and software i.e. Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a proven record of delivering excellent customer service.
