1. JOB IDENTIFICATION

 Job Title:                     Data Entry Operator

1. Department:                Administration
2. Reporting to:               Administration Manager

 JOB OBJECTIVE:

 Enters   data into computer by performing the following duties.

 MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Enters transactions and other information to update and maintain Accounts Payables records electronically.

2. Verifies   records for accuracy of data entered.

3. Performs other work related duties as assigned. 

4. Keeps track of received data and source documents. 

5. Prepares and sorts Invoices and other accounting documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered. 

6. Contacts preparers of Invoices to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data. 

7. Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer. 

4. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Performs other work related duties as assigned 

5. MAJOR PERFORMANCE INDICATORS 

1. 100% accuracy of data entered.

2. Maintenance of Accounts Payables bills. 

6. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE 

1. Evidence of 5 O’level Certificates. 

2. Not less than three years working experience in a similar position.

7. COMPETENCIES/ATTRIBUTES

1. Good written and oral communication skills 

2. The ability to interface and interact with personnel at all levels in the Company. 

3. Compatible with Microsoft Office Suite. 

4. Experience in using Peachtree Accounting Software an asset.
