Controls Engineer IV

Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd. (CUC) in the Cayman Islands is an equal opportunity Company with over 190 employees who are committed to meeting the electrical needs of Grand Cayman and to providing quality customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

-      Planning, scheduling, and conducting all electrical related instrumentation and controls maintenance and engineering activities;

-      Executing maintenance systems for the SCADA System and control room computer functions;

-      Troubleshooting of problems within Plan and Substation Control Systems, including PLC’s, RTU’s, and system computer hardware and software;

-      Specifying design, estimate, and install upgrades to existing and new control systems;

 

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

Applicants must:

-      possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, and preferably possess a Professional engineer designation;

-      possess a minimum of eight years’ engineering experience;

 

Salary:

Salary is from US$66,071 to US$90,114 per annum.

CUC operates within the Cayman Islands, a tax-free jurisdiction. Employees working on Island are subject to taxes only when importing goods from overseas. There are no income taxes.
