Carlong Publishers (Caribbean) Limited is a multimedia educational, marketing and distribution company owned and operated by Jamaican entrepreneurs, Carl and Shirley Carby. In addition to its own publishing, Carlong also provides exclusive distribution services in Jamaica for Pearson Longman multimedia educational publications.

For over 30 years Carlong has been pioneering the development of Caribbean publications designed for specific national and regional curricula at the early childhood, primary and secondary levels.

The company operates from three locations in Kingston, Jamaica. Executive Chairman, Carl Carby directs Carlong’s Finance, Accounting and Administration, Sales and Distribution operations from offices at 37 Second Street and our Distribution Centre at 38 First Street, Newport West. From our Ruthven Road office, Managing Director, Shirley Carby, directs the Publishing, Marketing and Human Resource Management operations.
