To ensure portfolio growth and revenue generation from assigned accounts and prospects, consistent with both short and long range objectives of the unit and the Company. Develops and administers customer and prospect relationships.

CSR LENDING - TOBAGO

 

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  •  Developing and maintaining satisfactory customer relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Supporting the Lending Officer in growing credit portfolio through field visits and sale of all products.
  • Supporting the Lending Officer in interviewing customers for personal loans and retail business, ensuring that the supporting document requirements are satisfied.
  • Completing and analyzing credit applications and preparing written proposals for submission to the relevant approving authorities.
  • Preparation of all loan related documents for signing by the applicants, ensuring all loan documents are signed by customers and preparing closing forms and vouchers for cheque preparation.
  • Ensuring that 100% of loan files are checked for accuracy before loans are passed for processing and cheque preparation including but not limited to the following:
  1.                         Credit Bureau reports are correctly interpreted and transcribed onto the customer loan application form
  2.                        TDSR is accurately calculated
  3.                     All required documents are seen and checked
  4.                     KYC/AML requirements are complied with
  5.                    The loan is approved according to company policy on limits of loan approval
  6.                     The loan complies with company and statutory guidelines
  • Acquiring and maintaining a thorough knowledge of lending products & services, policies and procedures necessary to respond effectively to customer requirements.
  • Adhering to Regulatory Compliance Guidelines, AML and Company’s policies and procedures for all products and services and customer transactions.
  • Keeping up to date with all market rates and trends in the local markets, as well as other financial information and market products.

 

Essential Job Requirements

  • Diploma Level in Business related field from a reputable University
  • At least two (2) year’s experience in similar type job and Customer Service industry
  • One Year experience in Retail Banking industry.
  • Proficient in use of computer applications in particular Microsoft suite of products.
