CREDIT CONTROLLER

JOB TITLE: Credit Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. To check credit ratings of the company's customers and evaluate whether credit should be extended.

2. Set up terms and conditions on payment

3. Handle internal queries about payments

4. Ensure all customers pay on time

5. Negotiate payment plans

6. Review debt recovery procedures and cease supply of goods when necessary

7. Initiate legal proceedings against delinquent companies 

The ideal candidate must:

* Be confident, organized and have good business judgment

* Be analytical, thorough with good attention to detail

* Have the ability to work with a team, or as an individual

* Be able to make sound decisions

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 2-3 years experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivables or pursuing Accounting qualification

2. 5 CXC passes, 2 being Maths & English 

3. MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) certified
