Our client is seeking a Business Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Operations Unit and the Executive Management Team of their organization.

JOB OPPORTUNITY

Business Support Officer

Monthly Salary: TT $7,000

Location: Port of Spain

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associates degree in Business Management, Human Resources and/or Psychology
  • At least two years’ experience in the HR field
  • Computer literate: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of letters, documents and reports for the Operations Unit
  • Enroll all new permanent employees on the Group Plans and to terminate separated employees from the Group Plans
  • Assists the Manager Operations in maintaining the vacation leave schedule for the organization
  • Assist with managing the Stationery/Supplies for each of the organization’s locations
  • Manage stock levels for Stationery, Cleaning Supplies and Tea Supplies and monitor vendor contracts
  • Collection, review and implementation of all work order requests submitted by Unit Leads at each location
  • Filing of all documents within the Operations Unit
  • Collaborate with the Finance Unit, Accountant, in meeting the organization’s strategic financial goals, i.e., collections report
  • Monitors and ensures adherence to (Council on Accreditation) COA and (Employee Assistance Professionals Association) EAPA standards
  • Collaborate to complete all preparations for quarterly Care Team meetings, inclusive of documents, documentation, catering arrangements, etc.
  • Update employee utilization data base (EUDB) inclusive of outreach activities, (A-Z)
  • Participate in Council on Accreditation (COA) standard sub-committee, as assigned
  • Maintain direct communication with customer organizations to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices, in collaboration with the Finance Unit and Assistant Director, Client Services
  • Responds to queries, questions, inquiries from customer organizations regarding collections
  • Other related duties as requested
