Our banking client in Bermuda is seeking a Business Process and Performance Analyst.
On behalf of our banking client in Bermuda we are seeking a Business Process and Performance Analyst. The Business Process and Performance Analyst will own the business performance reporting & management reporting for the Operations & Technology units under the COO’s remit. They will own E2E customer & Operations processes and manages the changes within the business units. This position reports to the Manager Operations Support.
Role and Responsibilities
In coordination with the Chief Operating Officer, all staff, IT and vendors & service providers, the Process and Change Analyst will
Prepare and report on key performance indicators, service metrics, productivity measures as agreed with the COO & production managers
Maintain a log of errors committed in the production units and defects in the work received by the production units for the purpose of reporting, monitoring and performing root cause analytics to reduce errors and defects
Maintain library of risk events, control lapses, non-operating losses originating within the COO’s shop for management reporting and root cause analytics
To document & keep current all business process workflows & procedures and to assist with the development and implementation of in-house solutions designed to enhance productivity and efficiencies in the Business units
Update & maintain all business processes, forms, flows & maps from time to time
Implement changes into the Operations production & Control units and applicable business units through end-user sensitization, training, etc.
Provide hands on analysis, implementation support and on going daily support of applications related to the current areas of the Bank’s business e.g. eDesk, Imaging, Item Processing
Assist with the analysis and implementation of applications for new lines of business
Assist with creation of user acceptance testing processes for the new banking system
Maintain proactive communication with other Operations & Technology team members and senior members from the business units regarding problems and other relevant issues relating to the on-going support of current and the implementation of new applications, processes and changes.
Provide training and sensitization on any changes within the Operations production or control units
Prepare draft monthly management reporting for the COO’s business units in coordination with the managers of those respective business units
Person Specification
7-10 years practical experience with at least 3 years being within a bank
Advanced ability to analyse business processes and to develop project plans for business changes and new processes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products and Filemaker program
Maintain strict confidentiality of client information
Dedicated to providing quality services
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems of a technical nature
Confirm to established policies and rules of personal conduct
