On behalf of our growing advisory client on the island, we are seeking an Auditor to join a busy team.



Key responsibilities and duties: 

- Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.

- Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.

- Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.

- Appraises adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires.

- Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures.

- Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with auditees.



Successful candidate:

- Minimum 3-5 years experience in an External/Internal Auditor role, ideally within a Chartered/Professional Services arena is essential


- Tertiary qualifications in Accountancy/Commerce/Business with a CA/CPA/ACCA qualification


- High level of communication skills to liaise with all levels of stakeholders with a focus on customer service delivery


- Self-starter, with the ability to think laterally and outside the box
