Assistant General Manager – Corporate Banking Division (Western Region)

Core Functions 

  • The delivery and management of an asset portfolio of high-value “blue- chip” corporate clients with significant loan and deposit bases to drive growth and profitability in this segment. 
  • Deal origination from local and international client bases. 
  • Extensive negotiations with local, regional and overseas clients and partners in the structuring of transactions and securing mandates. 
  • Identification of local and international funding sources and negotiating and structuring documentation to secure such funding. 
  • Coordinating and leading various deal terms towards successful transaction execution. 
  • Provide leadership and direction of the Western Unit with a high degree of autonomy and special emphasis on the development of human capital for sustainable business growth. 
  • Spearhead, in conjunction with the General Manager, various customer oriented events aimed at building the Brand and creating/increasing business opportunities.

 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field. 
  • A minimum of seven (7) years work experience in Corporate Banking or related field. 
  • Extensive experience in deal origination, negotiation, structuring, syndication, documentation and execution. 

Legal experience in Corporate Banking or Corporate Finance would be an asset
