Accounting Officer

Neustone Limited is recruiting an ACCOUNTING OFFICER

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate projects financial planning
  • Maintain accounts receivable and payable sub ledgers
  • Maintain revenue and cost of sales calculations for each project
  • Ensure that proper internal controls are maintained
  • Maintain monthly audit schedules
  • Prepare and enter monthly journal entries in the general ledger
  • Assist with the collection and deposit of the company’s daily intakes
  • Maintain proper record keeping of accounting documents
  • Liaise with construction team, vendors, bankers, auditors and other key stakeholders

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Completed ACCA Level 1 or Undergraduate First Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in accounting
  • Must be able to prepare final accounts
  • Knowledge of project management or construction accounting would be a distinct advantage
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications and accounting software, including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Supports the team’s efforts to meet deadlines
