The Accounting Clerk will perform the accurate and timely accounting functions on a daily basis.

The duties and responsibilities of the post-holder will include:

  • Entering data into the company’s general ledger system SAGE ACCPAC
  • The verification of weekly receipt summary using box office reports and computerized sales reports
  • Preparing monthly Bank reconciliations and General Ledger reconciliations
  • Processing Petty Cash requests and reimbursements
  • Assisting in month-end close processes
  • Preparing audit schedules in support of year-end audits
Requirements
  • CXC or recognized certifications in Mathematics, English, Accounting and/or Principles of Business
  • One year’s experience in a similar position
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of SAGE ACCPAC
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to use own initiative
