Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Recordkeeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
    • Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
    • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
  2. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Generate financial reports for management review and analysis.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  3. Tax Compliance:
    • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
    • Assist with tax planning and strategy to minimize tax liabilities.
    • Respond to tax inquiries and assist with tax audits.
  4. Audit Support:
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits of financial records.
    • Provide documentation and support for audit inquiries and findings.
  5. Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
    • Monitor variances between actual and budgeted financial results and investigate discrepancies.
  6. Compliance and Regulation:
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting rules and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  7. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.
  1. Any other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in tax preparation and compliance preferred.
  • Familiarity with auditing processes and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
