Serves as lead team member in the Uniform Services Department; ensures proper coverage of service desk and that smooth, friendly and efficient service is always provided to our guests.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collects a daily forecast of the prepaid charters, groups and VIP's from Assistant Front Office Manager. Works closely with Front Office Manager daily, regarding operational concerns. Cooperates with all departments in maintaining efficient services to guest with detailed knowledge about hotel's staff, services and hours of operations.
  • Inspects staff and gives orientation on daily arrivals, departures, and Hotel occupancy and department standards. Daily reports room numbers to Housekeeping when guests depart before 11:00am.
  • Organizes and coordinates staffing and manages Uniform Services operation to ensure all guest needs are met.
  • Ensures that Uniform Services Coordinator maintains a guest room number control sheet at service desks and dispatches uniform services staff efficiently.
  • Handles guest complaints, especially luggage complaints, promptly and efficiently. Manages all relevant information and follow up procedures associated with the Uniform Services Department.
  • Trains staff on a weekly basis. Plans, organizes and chairs staff meetings. Prepares and submits time sheet to Payroll Department each Monday. Evaluates staff twice a year. Rewards, recognizes and disciplines staff.
  • Ensures that all guest messages and packages are delivered promptly.
  • Coordinates all group bag pulls and administer along with uniform Services Manager and staff for prompt delivery.
  • Ensures all equipment is maintained to the standard and adequate daily supplies are available for use. Assists in coordinating valet parking functions as necessary and in accordance with the company standards and procedures. Ensures luggage rooms are kept in accordance with the standards and ensures luggage handling procedures are maintained.
  • Inspects front door, valet parking lot, driveway, lobby, elevators, luggage storeroom, service desks and hallways for cleanliness. Knows all safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them. Is aware of accident prevention policies.
  • Performs other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.
