The Technical Procurement Officer will be required to technically support all Parts Departments in procurement needs.
Job Description:
To source parts when necessary for all branches and find alternatives. This will involve on the road activities for vendor visits and technical exchange.
To act as a contract administrator for all local tenders and support research of new tenders.
To network with local vendors to achieve good quality, cost, and service.
To assess and streamline all local parts procurement opportunities.
To ensure POs are followed up and pre-invoiced. No aged POs on system
To analyze data/trends to create suggested orders monthly by using various reports like top selling lines, lost sales, new vehicles sales reports, vehicles on order and vehicles in stock.
Maintain the integrity of parts number data by creating and superseding part numbers accurately.
To coordinate and follow up with all involved to ensure orders are filled and up to date information is relayed to relevant personnel.
Maintain a proper filing system.
Maintain professional attire according to dealership policy.
Can be rotated throughout the branches of Ansa Motors for training and or special projects as mandated by management.
Is expected to handle duties stated above regardless of brand within the Automotive group.
To perform any duties which may or may not be related to the above as requested by the Manager.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 CXC passes.
Minimum of 6 units of CAPE passes.
BSc in Supply chain, Management, BSc in Auto Mechanics or equivalent.
CIPS Certification will be an asset.
Automotive buying will be an asset.
Advanced certificates in Microsoft Office will be an asset especially in excel.
Minimum of 2-3 years in automotive mechanics.
Accuracy in checking and recording data.
Timeliness in the completion of assigned tasks.
Ability to prioritize daily tasks in order of urgency.
Good problem-solving skills and initiative in the performance of daily job-related tasks.
