Tank Farm Attendant, ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited

The Tank Farm Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that, products that are packaged and sold to customers meet the Company’s product specifications.

Job Summary:

• The Tank Farm Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that, products that are packaged and sold to customers meet the Company’s product specifications.

Job Description:

• Record and monitor the status of product in the packaging tank farm using the Certification Log.
• Ensure all products in the packaging tank farm are certified and accurate records are kept.
• Ensure only the certified tanks are used for both packaged and bulk bleach
• Ensure that the correct batch number is given to the Shift Supervisor for all  bleach products.
• Filter all bleach in tank farm to meet packaging and bulk demand
• Ensure the customer receives the correct product and quantity as stated in the requisition for bulk product.
• Conduct and report on daily maintenance checks on tank status.
• Preparation of drums and filling of bleach/chemicals for bulk customers.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures as well as governmental and internationally accepted safety standards.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies/ procedures.
• Perform any other duties as required by the job function.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Two (2) CXC /O’ Level passes.
• Valid forklift driver’s license.
• At least one year experience working on a packaging line.
• At least one year experience driving forklift with an excellent safety record.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to function as part of a team.
• Physical dexterity.
• Ability to use initiative in some situations.
