About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Talent Manager, this supervisory role will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Research, analyze, and present data to support the development of strategies and initiatives such as Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Learning and Development, Performance Management, and Succession Planning aligned to business needs.
  • Plan, organize and facilitate various talent management activities such as orientation & onboarding sessions for new employees, corporate learning and training sessions, learning forums.
  • Organize and support learning needs analysis exercises by administering surveys, organizing focus groups, or brainstorming sessions.
  • Contribute to the content development and ensure accurate and user-friendly digital format and process of required corporate training.
  • Prepare various presentations, handouts, working tools or other materials related to Talent Management as required.
  • Gather and analyze data including participants’ evaluations for learning and development activities and required corporate training and recommend corrective measures when necessary.
  • Follow-up and report on progress and attendance of all learning and development activities, and identify issues or risks and recommend solutions or mitigations to stakeholder.
  • Skilled measurement of learning effectiveness to improve performance and impact business results
  • Supervise skills trainers to monitor performance, close gaps and build future skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • First Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent field
  • Proven experience working in a similar capacity at least (3) three years
  • Experience in the development of training programs
  • Sound knowledge of Jamaican Labour Laws
  • Train the Trainer Certificate would be an asset
  • Experience in evaluating learning impact
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
