Introduction

We seek a dedicated and dynamic telemarketer to join our sales and marketing team at Health Net Caribbean Ltd.
As a telemarketer, you will make outbound calls to potential and past customers, informing them of our services and locations.Your primary goal will be to generate interest, and sensitise the selected district of our company’s profile. You will also engage in recording customer feedback, and preparing weekly reports to the F&A manager.

Objectives of this role

Conducting outbound calls to  potential and past customers to promote our services and locations

Building rapport with customers, understanding their needs and use leads to generate and drive sales.

Addressing customer concerns and overcoming objections to influence buying decisions through persuasive sales conversations..

Collaborating with the Sales team to provide information on all our  products and promotions.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct outbound calls to prospective and past customers, using your persuasive skills to promote our products and services effectively..
  2. Engage with potential customers in a professional and persuasive manner, clearly articulating the features, advantages and benefits of our offerings.
  3. Follow up on leads and maintain regular communication with potential customers to build relationships and increase the likelihood of sales conversions.
  4. Collaborate with direct line managers when customer complaints are received, and assist in reducing customer relations fall out from such.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
  6. Stay updated on product knowledge, company services and competitor offerings to position our services in the market competitively.

Required skills and qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 year of experience in telemarketing, sales or customer service.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear and confident phone manner, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively.
  • Solid persuasive and negotiation abilities to influence customers.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address customer needs.
  • Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a sales-driven role.
  • Organisational skills to manage customer information and follow-up activities.
  • Basic computer literacy, specifically microsoft and google suite of applications.
  • Professionalism, integrity and a positive attitude in all customer interactions.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • A bachelor’s or associate's degree in Marketing or Customer/Business Administration
  • Demonstrable knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management principles.
  • Ability to adapt to changing sales strategies and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. The ability to work independently.
