Job Summary

The Shelf-Replenisher is a mature, responsible male who ensures that customers have a consistent supply of products in the grocery.

Key Duties 

• Moves items from the storeroom to the sales floor, and then stocks them on the shelves.
• Ensures a consistent supply of goods on the shelves. 
• Interacts with customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Checks the goods and removes damaged products from the shelves.
• Checks goods to ensure that they have not expired.
• Alert supervisors of goods that are nearing the expiry dates.
• Checks shelves to identify items that are running low.
• Assists customers on the sales floor by checking prices and locating goods.
• Keeps the designated work area clean, neat, and tidy by sweeping the floor and dusting the shelves.

Qualifications and Experience

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to two years of recent retail and warehouse.

• Three CXC subjects including English Language.
• Communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to follow direction.
• Accuracy in handling merchandise.
• Punctuality is essential.
• Must be able to do basic housekeeping duties: dust, wipe, sweep, mop, etc.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand up for 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to reach up, bend at waist, climb stairs and kneel.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must be available on holidays, weekends, evening and night shifts
