The Senior Human Resource Coordinator is required to support the delivery of Human Resource services, duties and responsibilities by performing administrative support and technical assistance in the delivery of human resource services in line with HR policies, procedure, rules, regulations and laws.

ey Responsibilities 

  • Prepares employment packages for new hires
  • Requests and collates onboarding documents (New Employee forms, Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest forms, ID, Banking and personal and YTD payroll info etc.)
  • Co-ordinates with local I.T. to ensure computer and system access
  • Follow up with the Department Head on the probation period for new employees and confirmation of permanent employment status
  • Calculates the last date worked, pay to date and vacation owed by/to the company and communicate same to employee, supervisor and MD
  • Prepares vacation accrual and taken for the month using data from shared files, email notifications, etc.
  • Reports, SOX confirmations, and main contact for all Regional HR communication
  • Quarterly Metrics reports for Regional HR
  • Manages all IPG Alert Line complaints received through Regional HR review case, conducts interviews with relevant staff, witnesses, etc and submits reports to Regional HR
  • Handle general staff HR queries or requests for information
  • Management and administration of the company’s Medical plan
  • Management and administration of the company’s Pension Plan
  • Management and administration of the company's mobile cellular plan
  • Manages all regional requests related to HR, including compensation and ad hoc reports
  • Lead all HR-related projects, or the HR element of any regional project and provide all requested information e.g. HR Core, Job Levelling (HR), and I.T. Transition project (HR aspect)
  • Contract negotiation with admin suppliers e.g. cleaning services provider, Plant Rental company, etc.
  • Administer Know Your Client Forms etc. for vendors
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Management and Coordination with the region
  • Day for Meaning Coordination

Qualifications and Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Certificate in Industrial Relations
  • Knowledge of labour laws
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level
  • 3 to 5 Years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist role
