Provide maximum security to protect guests, employees, and property, while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. Work with dogs that are trained to perform a variety of security duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive briefing and assignments from the supervisor and carries out those assignments. In addition patrols assignment areas and reporting to security control at regular intervals.
  • Reports / handles unusual incidents or occurrences, suspicious persons, employees or other persons who may be in unauthorized areas or areas for guests only.
  • Provides exceptional customer service when dealing with guests.
  • Identifies and reports safety hazards and following up to ensure that they were eliminated.
  • Escort as necessary cashiers or other persons involved in the movements of funds or other valuables both on property and for bank accounts.
  • Manning all security check points and monitoring the swiping in and swiping out of time cards by employees arriving to and departing from work.
  • Checks employee's bags and containers when leaving the property, do visual inspection and physical inspection when necessary, identifying and reporting company property being taken out without property authorization.
  • Log in all employees of contracting firms and other vendors, ensuring that they are wearing authorized identification badges and refusing to allow entry to unauthorized persons and provide escorts to persons who have to go in restricted areas.
  • Controls vehicles entering and leaving restricted areas. Refusing entry to unauthorized vehicles and conducting visual inspections and when necessary physical inspection of vehicles and occupants.
  • Maintains strict surveillance and keep keen observations in public areas, especially in entrainment areas, to identify undesirable persons and removing such persons inconspicuously.
  • Provides crowd control in areas such as entrances to places of entertainment and other functions. Be familiar with fire exits, the firefighting equipment, their location and reporting defects or damages detected. Also, be aware of all emergency plans including the fire and emergency plan, disaster preparedness and response plan and the alarm system.
  • Detain persons involved in illegal acts on property, pending notification of the police of other law enforcement agencies and providing written reports.
  • Investigates all complaints made by guests, patrons and employees doing follow up enquiries and providing written reports upon completion.
  • Answering the telephone in a professional and courteous manner and taking complaints from guests, patrons and employees and dispatching officers to respond when necessary. Also, logs all incidents and unusual occurrences in the security diary clearly and legibly. Responsible for informing the supervisor of all incidents or unusual occurrences as they happen or are reported.
  • Administers C.P.R to persons in need, pending the arrival of medical assistance. Also, performs duties at fixed posts and division outposts. Remains at posts until properly relieved.
  • Train and care for the dogs who serve as partners. Maintain good health of dogs by regular, feeding, giving of medication and cleaning of kennels. Use dogs to search for, calls for assistance, apprehend, control suspects, illegal substances and explosive devices.
  • Maintains confidentiality of any information received.
  • Perform other reasonable duties requested by management.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • Have a genuine affection, understanding and compassion for dogs.
  • Must be willing to learn and understand basic Officer Safety Skills and have interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexible shifts
  • Able to work with a diverse group
  • Must be honest, respectful, courteous, helpful, trustworthy and disciplined.
  • Excellent communication skills
