Sales Representative

The Role

  • Applies all steps in the sales process and interacts directly with customers taking care of their orders and keeping customers informed.
  • Identifies customers’ needs, presents relevant products and services, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
  • Responds to customers’ incoming calls and services walk-in customers, utilizing upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize on sales opportunities.
  • Provides information on product pricing, terms of payment and availability of products to all customers.
  • Reviews quotations and follows up on potential sales, keeping a pipeline of opportunities and monitoring until sales are attained.
  • Makes recommendations for business solutions in response to client queries and needs.
  • Compiles and maintains database of existing customers informing all updates necessary to the relevant team.
  • Achieves monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators.
  • Keeps updated with knowledge on the company’s products and services.

 

The Preferred Candidate:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or tertiary training in Information Technology; sales certifications are desirable
  • Has a minimum of 2 years related work experience in sales
  • Has strong organizational and communication skills
  • Is able to interface professionally with persons at all levels
  • Is able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment without losing control or professionalism when dealing with customers and team members
  • Is highly motivated, trustworthy, self-driven, confident, and problem solver
