Summary/Overview

The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve targets, key results, develop new markets and opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans in alignment with overall company objectives.
• Preparation and analysis of budgets with a view of efficient scheduling of expenditure.
• Work closely with the Sales team to establish KPIs and develop feedback mechanisms to monitor performance and indicate areas of improvement.
• Manage pricing and trade deals in conjunction with the General Manager and Financial Controller.
• Manage Accounts Receivable in concert with Company policies and work closely with the Financial Controller to periodically review credit limits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, provide market intelligence and competitor activity on an ongoing basis.
• Manage and coordinate social media and public relations campaigns.
• Prepare and present reports on departmental performance and strategic plans.
• Investigates and responds to market and customer demands/complaints to ensure the achievement of objectives.
• Perform marketing audits to monitor sales performance.
• Coach, motivate and mentor the sales team to achieve objective.

• Proven record of the commercializing of new products/services
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Education & Experience

• A minimum of 5 years experience within a sales management or marketing role
• BSc. in Marketing (preferred).
• A project management qualification will be an assest.
• A minimum of 3 years managing or supervising a sales team.
