SENIOR MANAGER, EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining labour relations programmes, policies and procedures. He/she will also be responsible for developing and ensuring healthy work relationships 

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Supporting the group-wide preparation of plans, policies, documents and reports including, organisational charts, labour agreements, employee handbooks and job descriptions
• Knowledge of and interpretative skills pertaining to Labour laws across the Caribbean
• Assessing the overall employee relations through careful analysis and implementing innovative changes to improve morale, efficiency and performance
• Supporting the adherence to occupational health and safety legislation obligations
• Leading the creation and execution of employee engagement programmes and initiatives
• Establishing and maintaining approved standards to provide meaningful information to guide continual improvement and further increase employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
• Knowledge of Hospitality Uniform Standards and trends

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Five years of experience in a position of responsibility and supervisory duties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, counselling and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
