Twenty seven years ago, Newtech Inc. was formed out of the needs of the local advertising industry for high end, efficiently produced and installed signage.  

Today Newtech Inc. located in Ellerton, St. George, employs a staff of fifteen trained personnel. Our team’s skills include (but are not limited to) graphic designing, welding, sheet-metal fabrication, woodwork, spray painting, acrylic bending/fabrication, vinyl laying, heat welding & industrial stitching.    We have an outstanding installation team, with quite a few years of experience, and we are known to take on the large, tight deadline jobs which most other local companies refuse.   This experience includes working at large heights, often operating out of 120’ aerial lifts to install large format signage inclusive of electrical installation work.  The Newtech team is complimented with all the fundamental equipment in the industry including the largest wide format printer on the island, enabling 96” wide prints, a high resolution Latex ink printer and various plotting and cutting equipment allowing us to achieve and offer the following services:

• Large format colour printing:

Produced quickly and finished on site for any type of installation including billboards and building drops.  

• Banners for all occasions:

Large volume installations along the highways for example pose us no problem! 

• Decals:

Large format adhesive prints or small, die cut decals can be achieved here on site. 

• Exhibition & display systems:

Both manufactured locally and sourced from our wide network of international suppliers of various kinds of Promotional Products, Marketing Booths and Display Modules. 

• Structural & graphic design services:

Artwork can be created and altered on site to meet with our clients’ needs. 

• Vehicle graphics & wraps:

Our installation teams have extensive knowledge and experience allowing pristine vehicle wraps on site.

• Tinting, Security and frosted films:Again, our installation team is capable of installing even the thickest of security films in all kinds of locations. 

•  Shop painting:

We have skilled painters on the team who can hand paint in order to replicate logos and designs on any surface where vinyl isn’t appropriate. 

• Acrylic products & services:

We boast one of the most experienced Acrylic fabricators on the island fashioning acrylic pieces such as Brochure Holders with ease and also constructing custom made pieces and channel letters with this versatile material. 

• Rush job service:

The team works to tight deadlines on a daily basis, offering weekend and when required overnight service in order to meet with our clients deadline dates.

We are capable of handling large company rebranding’s, as we demonstrated some years ago when we handled the rebranding of Butterfield Bank to First Citizens, Barbados National Bank to Republic Bank, numerous companies here in Barbados bought over by Massy out of Trinidad and rebranded to the Massy brand, and most recently the rebranding of First Caribbean International Bank to CIBC here in Barbados and also in some of the EC territories. 

Over the years we have also formed relationships with other signs companies in the region and by networking we are also cable of implementing branding changes efficient through the neighbouring islands.     

We are an authorized 3M Distributor of vinyl’s and tints for Barbados.
