Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will assist with the coordination, scheduling and execution of Maintenance activities, along with day to day Administrative Duties.

Primary Duties:

1) Consult with the Manager daily to identify work assignments, keeping Manager informed of all activities, needs and problems
2) Collaborate with all contractors to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed timely and effectively
3) Maintain policies and procedures on quality assurance and safety
4) Oversee Maintenance and Servicing of the Company Cars
5) Prepare report on daily duties to Management

 Qualification/Experience:

1. Diploma in Project Management
2. Minimum of 5 passes (CXC General Proficiency Grades I – II) or equivalent.
3. Knowledge of OSHA operational policies, safety rules and procedures
4. Minimum of three – five years applicable work experience in facilities maintenance and administration.
5. Must possess a positive attitude, work well with others and have good oral and written communication skills
6. Excellent Computer skills
7. Equivalent combination and experience in the above will be considered.
8. Microsoft Office 365

 Skills/Ability Required:

• Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems
• Knowledge of the use and operations of hand tools, power tools and equipment
• Ability to climb, work on ladders and other heights
• Must demonstrate competence and or expertise in the above listed areas
• Knowledge of vehicle Maintenance – Fleet Management
