The Rib Shack Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and diverse griller who has passion for food and serving customers. Interested candidates must have prior grilling experience.

Job Summary

The Line Staff is responsible for greeting and serving customers, preparing menu items on the grill station while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.  All activities must conform to the established guidelines and standards and must be in accordance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sanitation:

    1. Perform sanitation procedures on:-
    • Counter tops,
    • Utensils
    • All working surfaces
    • Equipment
    • Beverage dispensers
    • Vegetables

    Food Preparation (Kitchen):

    1. Prepare menu items according to prescribed individual recipe and in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
    2. Prepare all meats as assigned in accordance with established procedures.
    3. Grill all meats in accordance with established procedures.
    4. Prepare assortment of ingredients according to established guidelines.
    5. Adhere to all quality standards and restaurant-specific operations.
    6. Follow all rotation procedures for meat, cheese, sauce, etc.

    General:

    1. Clean all customer areas including dining area, floors, tables, walls, washrooms, party areas and general front store area.
    2. Perform shift change procedures as outlined.
    3. Restock and replenish beverage dispensers, ice bins, condiment bottles, cups, covers, etc.
    4. Follow all rotation procedures for products.
    5. Assist with stocktaking as required

          Policies and Procedures

  1. Familiarize self with all operational procedures and policies.

                  2. Adhere to all Human Resource policies and procedures.

  3. Adheres to all Health and Safety protocols and procedures

 Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a grilling positon.
  • Three CXC passes
