MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS and SPECIALISTS
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
v Degree, Fellowship and Membership in relevant discipline recognized by the Medical and Dental Council of the British
Virgin Islands.
v Proof of Current Registration and/or License under the laws of the BVI and in good standing with the certification
body of the country in which they were credentialed.
v Proof of Continued Medical Education
v At least 3 years post qualification experience in specialty area.
ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
Laboratory Technologist
Medical Imaging Technologist Sonographers
Nutritionist – (Public Health trained ; an asset)
Pharmacist
Physiotherapist
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelors of Science
* Minimum of two years post qualification experience
* Registered with the British Virgin Islands
Allied Health Professionals Council
NURSES Registered Nurse Midwife
Specialized (Dialysis; Pediatrics; Neonatal etc.)
Registered Mental Nurses
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
* Diploma /Associates Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
* Three year experience in Nursing
* Registered with the British Virgin Islands Nursing Council
* Current certification in Basic Life Support
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
*Sound knowledge of relevant specialty care and procedures
*Sound knowledge of quality assurance techniques
*Sound communication and human relation skills
*Sound analytical and decision making skills
*Sound oral and written communication skills
*Sound knowledge of relevant Code of Ethics
*Actively share information, ideas and expertise with others
