As the BVI Health Services Authority (a client-centered healthcare organization) is actively qualified healthcare professionals for the following positions:-

MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS and SPECIALISTS

• General Surgeon—laparoscopic and endoscopy training and experience required , experience in management as asset.
•  Internist / Nephrologist—experience in managing a dialysis unit an asset
•  ER Physicians—Specialists and/or experience
•  Orthopedic Surgeon 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

v  Degree, Fellowship and Membership in relevant discipline recognized by the Medical and Dental Council of the British

Virgin Islands.

v  Proof of Current Registration and/or License under the laws of the BVI and in good standing with the certification

body of the country in which they were credentialed.

v  Proof of Continued Medical Education

v  At least 3 years post qualification experience in specialty area. 

ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

Laboratory Technologist

Medical Imaging Technologist Sonographers

Nutritionist – (Public Health trained ; an asset)

Pharmacist

Physiotherapist 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelors of Science

* Minimum of two years post qualification experience

* Registered with the British Virgin Islands

Allied Health Professionals Council

NURSES Registered Nurse Midwife

Specialized (Dialysis; Pediatrics; Neonatal etc.)

Registered Mental Nurses 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

* Diploma /Associates Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

* Three year experience in Nursing

* Registered with the British Virgin Islands Nursing Council

* Current certification in Basic Life Support
