The Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, learning and development, engagement, and legal compliance.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyse workforce and people-related data to generate meaningful business insights to an important role in analysing and providing data for strategic workforce planning, talent, employee experience and other people-related data.
  • Gather and analyse data, using appropriate statistical and business models and continuously learning about new ways to mine data and distil meaning out of the increasing amount of data available.
  • Build tools to bring our workforce insights to our HR leaders and a wide audience to drive actions from People and Workforce data and insights.
  • Support the end-to-end variable salary calculation process.
  • Leads the management of internal HR databases, which includes employee onboarding/offboarding, learning, and maintenance of records and reports.
  • Designs and provides regular and ad hoc reports from internal databases (for example HR Business KPI, productivity headcount, absenteeism, vacancies, turnover, in addition to data tracking such as applicant tracking/digital talent bank etc.)
  • Create, maintain, and update organizational charts per Distribution Centre, organizational unit and companywide.    
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labour statistics, competitors' practices, and other sources.
  • Analyses data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Supports the processing of the recurring payroll submission.
  • Manage/troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as required.
  • May be delegated to support the objectives of the Department in a timely, effective and efficient manner.

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, Management or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the management of Human Resource Information Systems, Data Analytics, reporting functions, or related fields.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Visio or other related data management and presentation tools.
  • A self-driven professional with a can-do attitude and exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to use one’s initiative and critical thinking while working within a team-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced climate.
