Facilities Maintenance Leader

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Provide ongoing guidance, training and support to develop the skills and knowledge of your team.
• Set clear expectations, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor progress towards goals.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all facilities and equipment.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign maintenance tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential problems proactively.
• Respond promptly to repair requests and resolve issues effectively.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory. 

 Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or a similar field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance supervisor or similar role, preferably in the hospitality or catering industry
• Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices and techniques, with expertise in equipment and facility maintenance
• Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to the hospitality/catering industry.
