Description of Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Distribution of freight to consignees with a valid receipt (as required)
  • Account for, secure, properly monitor and place all freight items received (as required)
  • Ensure that freight items received are properly palletized and wrapped
  • Ensure that freight items received are labeled and placed on the correct pallet by destination
  • Ensure that freight receipt and distribution policies are adhered to
  • Receipt and distribution of freight to consignees
  • Comply with and ensure adherence to the company's Alcohol & Drug Policy
  • Monitor the activity of persons within the vicinity of the freight distribution area - maintain good

order, avoid pilferage and damage /losses, employees engaged in horseplay, loitering, or violation

of established policies
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency, customer service and professionalism
  • Participate in meetings and other company sponsored events, when appropriate
  • Report the existence of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions
  • Ensure that performance and behavior meet legal and professional requirements as well as

Company's standards
  • Participate in the cleanliness of the freight zones and surrounding areas / any other duties directed
