Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort, Lowlands, Tobago invites suitably qualified and experienced persons with significant Caribbean experience of multi-island operations at four-star level with specialization in All-Inclusive Luxury product hotels to join our team of professionals working to build tourism in Tobago and ultimately the diversification of the economy.
EXECUTIVE CHEF
Reporting to the General Manager, the Executive Chef helps to create a superior guest experience by providing a distinctive culinary experience at Magdalena Grand.
The Executive Chef coordinates all the culinary activities of the Hotel including but not limited to selecting and developing recipes, planning and pricing menus, standardizing production recipes, establishing presentation techniques and quality standards and ensuring proper equipment operation/maintenance. The incumbent also ensures the safety and sanitation of the kitchen, oversees special catering events and provides culinary instruction as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
menu development, food cost and portion control, pricing and F&B hotel accounting principles, development of a culinary team.
An equivalent combination of qualifications and experience may be considered.
