Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop, monitor, and analyze IT project budgets, costs, and expenditures ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
• Perform regular financial assessments of ongoing IT projects, identifying cost overruns, variances, and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the creation and management of annual IT budgets,
• Collaborate with IT managers to develop accurate financial forecasts for upcoming projects, taking into account potential risks and opportunities.
• Monitor IT expenses and track spending against budgeted amounts.
• Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting financial trends, deviations, and key performance indicators.
• Work closely with procurement and vendor management teams to review IT vendor contracts, pricing structures, and negotiate favorable terms.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the IT department through data analysis and collaboration with IT leadership.
• Foster strong working relationships between the finance and IT departments, acting as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and understanding of financial goals and constraints.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, guidelines, and compliance regulations in all IT financial activities.
• Assist in preparing documentation and information for internal and external audits related to IT finance.
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles, with a solid understanding of IT operations and technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data visualization tools.
