Construction Site Supervisor

BCQS International, a leading property and development consultancy in the Caribbean and Latin America, is seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor for a site based role in Barbados.

Job Description:

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations at our construction sites, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project specifications and company standards. This is a site-based role that requires a strong presence on the ground and the ability to interface effectively with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Manage construction staff and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide detailed reports on project progress.
• Maintain constant communication with project stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
• Resolve any issues that arise on site promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Sound knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services.
• Extensive background in general building construction.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Strong client-facing skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Non-Barbadian residents must possess CSME (CARICOM SINGLE MARKET ECONOMY) certification.
