The Cashier is responsible to provide direct transaction services to customers, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining accuracy, integrity and ensure cashier policies and procedures are followed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Courteously receive all customers and visitors
·         Process daily monetary transactions from customers including cash, credit and debit cards payments.
·         Maintains organized file records
·         Assists with other assignments in the department when requested
·         Registering and documenting new customers
·         Assist new and existing customers with queries and credit
·         Reconcile transactions on a daily basis.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
·         Minimum Five (5) CXC General Subjects including Mathematics or Accounts and English Language.
·         Minimum two (2) years working experience in a similar capacity.
·         Must be fluent with Microsoft applications
·         Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays
  • Valid police record
  • A valid Food Handlers Permit
REQUIRED SKILLS & SPECIALISED TECHNIQUES 
·         Computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
·         Efficient problem solving and time management skills.
·         Excellent quantitative, communication skills.
·         Able to communicate professionally and effectively.
