PURPOSE OF JOB

The Business Growth Officer support the business diversification and growth across markets by contributing to the development and execution of data-informed research, business, market penetration, and sales strategies. This role also ensures a cohesive brand experience, digital and social brand presence across all markets.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Methodically gather, sanitize, and analyze customer research, market dynamics, and competitor intelligence to derive actionable insights that inform brand growth and business development strategies.
  • Actively support the development and implementation of comprehensive regional market entry plans for a diverse business portfolio.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of key markets, pinpointing lucrative growth prospects, identifying entry barriers, and analyzing competitive landscapes to support the development and execution of successful market endeavors.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government agencies, while supporting the development of stakeholder management plans that maximize new and existing relationships and propel business objectives.
  • Explore and present strategic partnership opportunities that align with the organization's growth objectives, fostering collaborations that expand our commercial reach and product commercialization efforts.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to manage the successful execution of assigned campaigns, projects, product launches, and other initiatives geared toward business growth. Ensuring these endeavors are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives and brand standards.
  • Conduct research and summarize findings to support entry and expansion in new business territories.
  • Support planning activities and execution oversight of launches, tradeshows, and go-to-market plans, reporting progress and
  • Support the negotiation process and contract management between new suppliers, distributors, and strategic partnerships.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

 BSc in Marketing, International Relations, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Project Management, Communications, or equivalent course of study.

  • Certification in Digital Marketing, Content Management, and Search Engine Optimization
  • Minimum of three years working experience in a similar role
  • Proficient and computer literate particularly with MS Suite, Canva, and Adobe Suite would be an asset.
  • Sound understanding of Fintech, Renewable Energy products and services.
  • Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute, product launches, corporate events, and national promotional activities.
  • Sound business acumen.

An equivalent combination of training and experience will also be considered.
