As a Retail Manager, you'll lead the development and execution of retail sales plans to maximize store profitability and deliver exceptional customer service.

PURPOSE: Develop and execute a competitive store-level retail sales plan aligned with Shoeaholics' overall strategy, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Maximize store profitability and deliver exceptional customer service experiences.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales plans tailored to Shoeaholics' products and customer base, driving delivered sales and maximizing store profitability.
  • Drive sales of shoe products, services, and credit by setting and communicating sales goals to store teams, ensuring profitability and achievement of targets.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor expense control tactics to maintain compliance with budgetary constraints. • Manage stock levels, conduct cyclical stocktaking, and ensure adherence to range plans to prevent stock loss and overstock, safeguarding company assets.
  • Maintain retail, visual merchandising, and customer service standards to enhance product presentation and positively influence customer purchasing decisions.
  • Resolve escalated customer queries promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor staff to empower them to achieve strategic store goals, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and foster a high-performing team culture essential for driving store growth and profitability.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management to ensure the effective operation of the store.
  • Monitor shoe trends and customer preferences to inform product assortment decisions and optimize sales opportunities.
  • Implement measures to enhance the in-store shopping experience, including innovative displays, interactive features, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the shoe market, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Stay updated on developments in the shoe retail industry, including emerging technologies and consumer behavior trends, to inform strategic decision-making.
