Under the guidance of the VP, Sales & Client Relations, the Account Manager is responsible for assisting with meeting and exceeding sales targets and retention of portfolio, through the delivery of prompt, effective and efficient delivery of service.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1.  Prospecting

    1. Increase portfolio by promoting products and services based on established performance targets.
    2. Convene meetings with potential clients/brokers to discuss proposal details.
    3. Review proposal requests and submit to underwriting team for pricing based on established guidelines/timelines.
    4. Submit approved proposals to brokerage companies/clients based on agreed timelines.
    5. Identify new product and services

     Building and Maintain Relationships – Portfolio Management

    1. Schedule Routine service visits to clients and brokers.
    2. Manage client/broker database, ensuring that they are up to date.
    3. Conduct service level surveys among brokers/clients and implement strategies that result in improvement where necessary
    4. Provide feedback to VP regarding the improvement of the current products and services
    5. Conduct live presentations with clients as necessary
    6. Monitor service level agreements to ensure company compliance and maintain established service level agreed.

     Administration & Customer Service/Support

    1. Ensure that all relevant client information is gathered and up to date.
    2. Conduct training sessions for brokers/clients as needed.
    3. Assist with the processing of monthly billings and reconciliation.
    4. Assist with the delivery of health cards and life certificates.
    5. Act as main liaison for clients/brokers to resolve any service issues reported
    6. Establish a good working relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure that client service level agreement target is met.
    7. Develop/Improve communication tools to enhance the understanding and service delivery of the company’s benefit packages.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

  • First Degree in Management Studies, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Industry knowledge is required      
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Adept in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel & Power-point)

  • FSC registration is required for relevant product and services offered by the company
SPECIFIC SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High level of professionalism
