Stephenson’s Electronics Services Limited and Sago Palm Hotel are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Management Officer to support inventory operations across the company’s retail, distribution, and hospitality departments.
JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Management Officer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock movement, coordinating inventory control activities, and assisting with the overall management of inventory systems and procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced retail, distribution, and hospitality environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock control records across all departments
- Monitor stock movement and inventory levels for retail, distribution, and hotel operations
- Conduct inventory counts, stock audits, and reconciliation exercises
- Record and verify incoming and outgoing inventory transactions
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain proper inventory documentation
- Monitor inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and stock variances
- Coordinate with management regarding low stock levels and replenishment needs
- Assist in ensuring proper stock handling, storage, and inventory procedures are maintained
- Verify deliveries against invoices and supporting documentation
- Utilize inventory systems and spreadsheets to update and monitor stock records
- Maintain organized filing systems for inventory-related records and reports
- Provide administrative support related to inventory and stock control operations
- Work closely with management and operational teams to improve inventory efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Diploma, Associate Degree, or certification in Business Administration, Inventory Management, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field would be an asset
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in inventory management, stock control, warehouse operations, or a related role
- Experience within retail, distribution, warehouse, or hospitality environments would be an asset
- Experience using inventory management systems, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office applications

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Fast-paced work environment involving retail, distribution, and hotel operations
- May require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer usage
- Will involve assisting with physical inventory counts and stock movement activities
