TITLE: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Heart Trust/NTA Technical Certification( Electrical) Level 3 or equivalent
- 2-3 years’ experience in the Maintenance Technician field, preferably in the Hotel Industry
- Technical skills and knowledge of Maintenance Programs
- Technical training in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Restaurant, Laundry Equipment Maintenance
- Technical in Electrical, Plumbing, general building and property maintenance; Computer Literate
- Compliance with operating instructions and performing preventative maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Team Player
SKILLS REQUIREMENT/KEY COMPETENCIES
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to: Operations Manager
Liaise internally with: Directors/ Managers/ Supervisors and all work teams
Liaise externally with: Contractors, Maintenance firms & personnel, Suppliers, Guests, etc.
CORE FUNCTION
- Implement existing maintenance programs or segments to achieve their stated objectives
- Responsible for various duties as detailed on the Daily maintenance task list
- Complete daily maintenance task list sheets, maintenance logs and submit
- Respond immediately to guest related and other complaints, resolve promptly before resuming the daily routine maintenance activities
- Adherence to hotel policies and procedures; compliance with Health and Safety requirements
- Ensure that the quality of service is to the agreed standards.
- Completion of designated projects in accordance with all stated requirements
- Make recommendations for improvement in routine and periodic maintenance
- Compliance with approved operating procedures/standards

- Quality service delivery and Customer service
