DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: |
- Support the recruitment and selection process by posting vacancies, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation activities, ensuring completion of required documentation and facilitating a smooth integration into the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee records in accordance with established compliance and record-keeping requirements.
- Manage employee and industrial relations matters, including handling grievances, participating in dispute resolution processes, conducting workplace investigations, and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist with the interpretation and application of labour legislation and organizational policies to ensure compliance and promote fair and consistent employee relations practices.
- Support performance management activities, including assisting with performance improvement plans and performance review processes.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, wellness, and communication initiatives across the organization.
- Coordinate HR projects through research, data analysis, and preparation of reports to support decision-making.
- Assist with HR reporting, workforce analytics, and other general HR administrative functions as required.

KNOWLEDGE: | - Knowledge of recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Sound knowledge of employee and industrial relations principles and human resource management practices.
- Strong understanding of employment and labour legislation and workplace compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: |
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
- Certification or training in Industrial Relations / Labour Relations
- Minimum of five (5) years’ progressive experience in Human Resources, including at least three (3) years specializing in employee and industrial relations.

OTHER: | - Must be able to work a shift system, including Saturdays.
