Job Title: Recruitment Assistant (Entry Level)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruitment Assistant to support our staffing needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping to find top talent for various positions across our locations. This is a great opportunity for new grads or anyone looking to grow their HR career in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in various stages of recruitment process for retail roles across company locations
- Post jobs on internal and external recruiting platforms.
- Review resumes and schedule screenings for qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate progress and notes during recruitment process.
- Communicate professionally with candidates regarding application status and interview details.
- Provide support at hiring events, job fairs, and other recruitment
- Assist with reference checks, scheduling job knowledge testing and other pre-employment processes.
- Assist with reference checks and ensure completion of all required pre-boarding documentation
- Facilitate the scheduling of exit interviews
- Aid in retrieving data from ATS to generate reports
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role
- Minimum 1 year recruitment experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent customer service , communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with ATS software
- Technical competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Googledocs),.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- High Volume recruitment experience is considered an asset
- HRIS experience is considered an asset
