ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
The Accounting Assistant’s daily functions are to ensure the accounting information is up to date, and that records for these transactions can be easily retrieved.
JOB SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounting Assistant daily processes are stated below but not limited to:
Preparation of daily sale batches including delivery sales calculation and updating gift certificate records.
Preparation of monthly petty cash journals.
Data entry for account payables.
Preparation of daily payments as required.
Preparation of daily deposits as required.
Preparation of daily sale invoices as required.
Preparation of monthly customer receivable statements.
Contacting customers for collections.
Maintaining up to date filing systems for areas assigned.
Internal Controls
Ensuring all policies and procedures are being adhered to for the accounting areas assigned and reporting all discrepancies to the accountant.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Level 1 ACCA and pursuing.
Two (2) years relevant work experience
Knowledge in Peachtree
INVENTORY ASSISTANT
JOB SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment: Counts material, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer.
Create inventory items and vendor accounts on Micros Product Management System.
Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
Assist Manager in detecting and curbing fraudulent activities.
Periodically audit petty cash float and vouchers.
Qualifications and/or Experience:
Candidate should possess 5 CXC O’Level/CSEC passes including Mathematics, English Language & Accounting
At least 2 years experience in a similar position
Good interpersonal skills.
Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
Willingness and ability to travel to various locations within the organization.
Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
RESTAURANT MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent is responsible for various aspects of the overall operations of the restaurant including maintaining the Company’s Brand Standards, presenting a professional image at all times, coaching, counselling, and developing team members, maximizing sales and profitability, controlling expenses, meeting budgetary constraints, handling guest complaints and ensuring sanitation, safety and food quality.
Essential duties including, but not limited to:
Business activities:
Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
Analysing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability.
Organising marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.
Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.
Creating and executing plans for department sales, profit and staff development.
Setting budgets and/or agreeing them with senior management.
Planning and coordinating menus.
Front and Back of House:
Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
Managing staff and providing them with feedback.
Responding to customer complaints.
Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards.
Meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations.
Advising customers on menu and wine choice.
Recruiting, training and motivating staff.
Organising and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff.
Enforce food standards, quality and consistency
Housekeeping:
Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
Checking stock levels and ordering supplies.
Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required.
Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

Kitchen Supervisor Job Description:
- Help in the preparation and design of all food menus.
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
- Report directly to the Lead Chef.
- Maintain quality of the brand in all areas.
- Responsible for recipes, food quality control, food preparation, inventory control and food safety.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections of all equipment.
- Fill in for the Lead Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of a reputable culinary school.
- Must have thorough knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in preparing quality food on a timely basis.
- Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Must be proactive, self-sufficient and able to work well independently.
- Proven leadership, organizational and supervisory skills.
