In this role, you will be responsible for both manual and electronic processing of a high volume of billing statements. Additionally, you will update account adjustments and maintain accurate records of account standings. Responsibilities:
- Accept payments and process billing statements.
- Track payment deposits from patients and insurance companies while reconciling details.
- Prepare payment batches.
- Conduct audits for billing cycles.
- Maintain accurate billing records and promptly report any discrepancies to the accounting department.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related billing or clerical position.
- Ability to efficiently handle a high volume of work.
- Strong data entry and typing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
