Overview:
Zoetry Marigot Bay St. Lucia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Engineering to lead our engineering team and oversee all engineering operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering management, a strong technical background, and a proven track record of leading projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering department, including recruitment, training, and professional development of staff.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, to drive innovation and solve complex problems.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for engineering projects.
- Ensure all engineering practices comply with regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in an engineering management role, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, technology].
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project management skills and experience with project management software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex engineering problems.
