RECRUITER (6-MONTH CONTRACT)
Location: Port-of-Spain
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in recruitment and human resource functions
- Solid understanding of local labor laws and industrial relations (IR) practices
- Proficient in using job boards, social media platforms, and applicant tracking systems
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide timely, high-quality recruitment services to clients
- Execute the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screenings and reference checks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements and ideal candidate profiles
- Maintain and update recruitment databases with accurate candidate and process information
- Prepare service contracts, quotations, and related employment documents
- Support HR functions such as preparing job letters and managing leave requests
- Manage onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with pre-employment documentation
- Assist with industrial relations issues as needed, in line with company policy and labor laws
- Perform general administrative support tasks as required
