Technical Machine Operators

Technical Machine Operators are responsible for operating machinery, preparing materials for production, meeting production targets, and assisting with basic troubleshooting and maintenance.

Job Functions

• Conducts activities in accordance with daily work schedule and performs tasks to ensure production targets are met in accordance with specification, expectation and timelines for delivery.
• Set up and operation of the respective machines in accordance with internal requirements
• Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of machines including minor machine maintenance such as daily inspection
• Actively participates in the training /supervision of lower-level machine operators.

Skills/Education

• Certificate from recognized technical/vocational institution and/or a minimum of 4 years experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and work instructions.
• Capable of performing within the physical requirements of the job.
