Wisynco Group Limited seeks to hire a Settlement Officer.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Settlement officer is responsible to ensure that all dispatched loads are settled appropriatelt and accurately. As well investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to driver loads.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- Settle all dispatched loads timely and appropriately
- Investigate and resolve FSM load discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve customer invoice discrepancies in the General Ledger before month end close
- Monitor and Report on unsettled FSM driver loads.
- To follow up on unsettled driver loads.
- Initiate credit notes and Goods Already Delivered where applicable.
- Review credit notes and GAD initiated for accuracy and completeness prior to submission for driver and customer invoice allocation.
- Utilize supplementary resources (e.g. reports, software) to investigate discrepancies.
JOB SPECIFICATION/COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS [Minimum]
- BSc Business related field with at least 1 years’ experience in relevant field
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Unquestionable integrity
- Intermediate level expertise using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong and clear communication skills
- Detailed oriented with ability to identify errors and initiate corrective action(s)
- Ability to use initiative and follow-up to ensure closeout of issues, observations or discrepancies
- Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibit a high degree of initiative and independence
