Sr. Maintenance Technician (Onshore & Offshore)/Maintenance Technician (Projects) (Mechanical, Plant fitting, Rotating, Electrical, Instrumentation)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Monitor equipment and systems utilizing diagnostic tools to detect deviations from normal operating conditions and recommends corrective action.
  2. Contribute to the preparation of scopes of work, basic schedules, cost estimates and execution of maintenance activities to achieve operational targets.
  3. Review or develop Scopes, Estimates, Schedules, Budgets, Procedures and Work Packages for Maintenance Works.
  4. Utilize the Maintenance Management System/Enterprise Asset Management Software (SAP) for monitoring of workflow process including notification, work order planning and work order close-out.
  5. Assist in regularizing  and enforcing SAP Workflow for all maintenance work.
  6. Participate in facilities and infrastructure audits to ensure asset integrity.
  7. Critically examine equipment to be overhaulded or repaired, identify defects, records as-found conditions and deviations from standards, advises Mechanical Lead on probable cause and failure.
  8. Provide technical support to field activities in diagnostics and troubleshooting in line with industry standards and best practices and in a cost-effective manner.
  9. Provide input in the process of contractor selection for maintenance jobs and repetitive service contracts.
  10. Supervision of execution of works and services provided by Third-Party contractors.
  11. Coordinate and conduct Preventative Maintenance works as per Paria's Preventative Maintenance Programme.
  12. Identify and list materials and spares required for assigned work.
  13. Ensure compliance with Asset Management Systems and Procedures.
  14. Implement HSEQ standards and ensure adherence to same.
  15. Perform all other related job functions as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Technician Diploma (as related to discipline) with twelve (12) years relevant experience for onshore and offshore as applicable.
OR
  • A suitable combination of qualifications and at least fifteen (15) years relevant experience in and Industrial Environment (Petrochemical, Port, Terminal, Marine Operations) or in similar facilities of similar contracts/projects and complexity will be considered.
