Summary:   

The Trade Auditor, under the supervision of the Merchandising Manager, assists
the company in meeting its goals and objectives
by performing route audits and developing statistical information reports for Management based on audit findings. 

 1.0

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Audit data against existing Trade audit sheets by visiting all customers assigned by the Sales Manager. 
  • Monitor Merchandising standards and further adherence to Shelf Planograms 
  • Monitor and ensure all Pricing policies are accurate. 
  • Implement and maintain Trade auditing policies and procedures. 
  • Implement methods that measure and evaluate the effectiveness of existing Trade control systems. 
  • Identify and establish corrective actions needed to address problem areas related to merchandising and servicing issues. 
  • Perform potential sales growth assessment on all merchandised outlets and communicate these assessments via written report to the Sales Manager. 
  • Prepare and present reports on Competitor activities and analyse trends and changes in the market. 
  • Monitor trade promotion ROI for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Any other duties as requested by management.

  • Computer literate.   
  • Understanding sales
    methodologies and its impact on sales. 
  • Understanding promotion methods and its impact on sales. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 

  2. Education & Experience:

  • At least Diploma/ High School certification with at least three years sales/or merchandising experience.  
  • Prior experience in the retail and consumer trade would be a distinct advantage
